Rules and regulations at La Cadole de Chardonnay

Before your arrival

  • Please tell us in advance about the presence of children in your party.
  • Please do not modify the number of people in your party without obtaining our permission beforehand.
  • Extra beds may be available on request (see “Rooms and apartments”).
  • We accept pets but only on prior request and with a supplement of 7 Euros per day. Please note this when booking. (See “Animals”)

Arrival

  • Guests should arrive in the evening between 17:00 and 22:30. It may be possible to arrive before or after these times but guests must make a request in advance.

    In case of late arrival due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic congestion or airport delays, please call us as soon as possible, we will adapt whenever possible.

Parking

  • Upon arrival guests should use the interphone on the left side of the gate to gain access to the property and then use one of the 4 parking places reserved for the guest rooms.
  • Please do not park anywhere else other than in these reserved spaces.

During your stay

Animals
  • As stated we accept pets provided that a prior request has been made to us, a supplement of 7 euros per animal per day will be charged.
  • Animals must be sociable, clean, educated and obey their masters.
  • Under no circumstances should pets be allowed to sleep on the beds or enter the areas reserved for other guests present at La Cadole.
  • Please keep pets on a leash in communal areas during shared moments such as breakfast.
  • Guests are required to collect the droppings of their animals on the property. Dedicated bags are available for this purpose in the kitchens. Bags must be placed in the waste disposal bins near the gate.

 

Eating at La Cadole de Chardonnay
  • Breakfast: if it has been reserved in advance, is served from 8:30 to 10:30 and it may be taken on the terrace or in the kitchens. Please inform us of any special requirements for religious or health reasons. 
  • Do not eat or drink anything other than glasses of water in the bedrooms.
  • Kitchens, tables, terraces and lounges are shared spaces, so please keep them clean and wash any used dishes immediately after the meals. These places must remain clean and tidy.
Wine
  • A choice of wine is available in the kitchens. It is not free of charge. Please view the price card before opening any wine; we will be obliged to charge for any opened bottles.
  • Do not hesitate to ask us for advice on the wines.
Courtesy tray:
  • Coffee and tea are at your disposal and offered during your stay.
  • Upon arrival, a complimentary bottle of mineral water and a bottle of fruit juice are in the kitchen fridges and there are cookies on the worktop.
Aperitif platter
  • Our aperitif platter is available at a cost of 12 Euros per person and should be reserved in advance as we buy only fresh and local products.
  • Please inform us of any special requirements for religious or health reasons.
Dining out
  • We can reserve a table for your party at a local restaurant and advise you about the price and choice of food available.
  • If we reserve on your behalf you are committed to honour the reservation.
Wine tasting
  • We can organize wine tasting for you at one or more of the 14 Vineyards in Chardonnay and surrounding villages.
  • If we reserve on your behalf you are committed to honour the reservation.

Rooms and apartments

  • You can not invite your friends to eat, bathe or sleep at La Cadole de Chardonnay without asking for permission.
  • Extra single beds can be put at your disposal for 40 euros per day and per person.

Property

  • The entire gardens are accessible to our guests, however the terrace and summer lounge around the family house are reserved for our family use, please respect our privacy.
  • Our guests have at their disposal a covered terrace and a garden attached to the guest rooms. 
Swimming pool

The swimming pool is a place to be shared.

  • It is available to our guests from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 19.00.
  • Pool towels are provided. N.B Bath towels from the bedrooms should not be used at the pool.
  • Children should only use the pool area or swim under the surveillance of an adult. In no case is our responsibility engaged.
  • It is forbidden to run around the pool and we ask you and your children to avoid shouting to protect the peace and quiet of our guests.
  • Eating or picnicking by the pool is not allowed, but you can have a drink.
  • On leaving the pool area please remove your belongings, glasses, empty bottles, towels etc. Please do not attempt to reserve a poolside space with your towel or other belongings.
Damage
  • Please report any damage you may have caused (rather than waiting for us to notice it ourselves).
  • Our relationship with our guests is based on trust and respect and, so far, it works very well.
Bath towels in the rooms
  • Wet bath towels placed on furniture, on metal railings or on beds can cause damage, so please hang them on the drying rack or on the towel radiators.

 

Departure

  • Rooms and apartments must be vacated no later than 11.00 am. Guests must leave the site.
  • No lunchtime meals are allowed on site before leaving.

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation because of a breach of the aforementioned rules.
